Make an All-Purpose Cleaner
Maybe you've got a bunch of cleansers and cleaning solutions and you're not sure which one to use. Well, this is a pretty simple and easy trick. You could just make your own. Get an empty spray bottle, take 1 quart of warm water and combine with it 4 tablespoons of baking soda. This will especially work great in the kitchen on counters and even inside the fridge.
Clear the Drains
Whenever you're drains start to get clogged up, here is a very useful tip to clear them out. Baking soda and vinegar will do the trick pretty easily, believe it or not. It's a nice alternative to buying products like Drano. Simply pour 1/2 cup of baking soda down the drain, followed by a 1/2 cup of vinegar. Wait a few minutes then turn on the hot water.
Cutting Board Stains
If you've used them for long enough, you'll eventually notice stains or even smells coming from your cutting board. You can sprinkle the board with some baking soda or salt, then run a cut lemon over it. This will keep it clean and remove any lingering smells.
